Old Carpet Factory Sound Art Residency

Old Carpet Factory Sound Art Residency program supports projects focused on the preservation of local culture, often grounded in ethnomusicology and critical sound studies, and on experimental and innovative practices in sound art. The residency encourages deep engagement with Hydra’s sonic, historical, and cultural environment. Supported by an in-house recording studio, it facilitates fieldwork, archival documentation, and experimental production, unfolding through periods of quiet investigation with on-site curatorial support.
Applications are accepted on the rolling basis.
